I love my convertible pants! I wear them year-round; even in the cold weather. To wear them in cold weather, simply wear an insulating layer of some sort (thermals or polypros) underneath them. In the morning, when it's cool, wear the full pants. As the day warms up you can remove the legs to remain comfortable, and replace them as the day goes on and cools back down.
