Maybe a lot of people are put off from camping these days because of the high price of camping equipment. If you go to the specialty outfitters and purchase all the latest high tech camping gear, you can spend a small fortune, but it doesn't have to be that way. If money is not object then have a ball and but al the coolest new gear you can find, but if you are just an ordinary mortal, then maybe low budget camping is for you.

Low budget camping doesn't mean you won't have just as much fun as the people who spend a lot on their camping gear. and low budget camping doesn't have to mean that you can;t go tot he most beautiful spots in the world. Low budget camping just means that you will do all the great camping you want to in some of the most picturesque places and do so on a low budget. It is possible to camp most affordably. You just need to do a little bit of work to make low budget camping successful.

The first thing to do in regard to low budget camping is to stop and thing about what it is you are looking for from your camping trip and then how are you going to get it at the lowest price. Let's say you want to go back country camping. Well, you probably don't have to fly off to a far away place and pay a guide to take you into some exotic remote spot to enjoy some back country camping. With your eye set on low budget camping, you can do some research and find some remote sites right in your own are. With low budget camping on your mind, you don't need to run out and purchase the latest most expensive gear either.

You can most likely borrow a tent from someone if you don't have one and you can get used sleeping bags at garage sales for a fraction of what they would cost you in the store, new. Next, as far as low budget camping goes, you don't need to spend a lot on fancy, freeze dried food for your trip. You just need to be willing to carry a few extra pounds of canned goods in your old backpack. with this type of low budget camping, you will be enjoying the great outdoors in no time, at a fraction of the usual cost. Low budget camping doesn't mean low fun camping either. You will be able to hike into a remote spot and pitch your borrowed tent and then rustle up some cheap grub and lay back and relax because low budget camping means you will have no worries about how to pay for it all.
